When my husband and I bought our first house, there was a ton of maintenance to do along with all the visions I had for it. Lets just say to begin with I was very naïve and very ambitious. Let me tell you what, being a lover of Pinterest was no help either. I would go to my husband with fabulous ideas on the most random stuff, like how to paint the outdated countertops and how, we, ourselves could redo the kitchen ect.... needless to say I had put together a mile long list of every last thing I wanted to do. Not to mention that for some reason I thought it would all get done in a matter of months. Oh boy was I wrong! Kinda funny how money and energy go hand in hand, I ran out of both at the same time. Although my wonderful husband had already ran out long before me, I blamed it on the fact he didn't "see" my vision.

So about 6 months into running around like crazy people trying to fix things here and there, then something bigger that I didn't wanted to deal with would happen, like the water heater exploding! Needless to say I was burnt out!! We never had extra money since we put it all into the house, and not even fun house stuff but stuff you don't even think about being a new homeowner! I hated going to my job, which there are more then a dozen reasons why and I just might post something about that whole debacle later, and my arthritis was not allowing me to keep up with my brain. I was sore and tired all the time and my head kept telling me to do this...no this...I felt like I was being pulled in way to many directions. On top of that I wanted to start trying to have a baby! Much to my husbands dismay, he wasn't ready and he probably saw that I was already overwhelmed with all the new stuff in our life. After all, that was the major plan I had, get married, buy a house, have a baby, perfect right? I think that is probably more then half of women's dreams for life. But anyway, all the crazy and stress had to stop. I had to get more organized and gather my thoughts and feelings.
So, I just stopped doing anything at all. I stopped caring about what happened with my projects and the house. I took off as much time as I could for work, which I felt really bad about. As for the baby, those feeling didn't go away but I did manage to calm myself down about it not talk about it so much. Oh... and there also was a lot more going on then just that. But we will only start there I got to have a little mystery about my life! Haha. Anyway, that leads me to this last couple months. I eventually ran out of days I could take off work and I still felt that I needed more. But lets be realistic here, when I'm only averaging about 2 weeks a month at a full time job, what it the point to having one. So my husband and I decided that we could make it if I stayed at home. So I QUIT!!! Yay!! Now what.... So this is the beginning of my new chapter of life and probably some flashbacks to previous ones! This is my Life on Love's Hill.
